"ZhaoJianxiong_1989 collates this ms. with corresponding segments in the 'Shang han lun' and two additional medical texts edited by Lin Yi (fl. 1057-68), based on the 'Shang han za bing lun' (Discourse on the Various Afflications of Febrile Diseases) compiled ca. 700 by Zhang Zhongjing. Corresponding passages to this ms. may by found in Juan one of the 1980 reprint of the 'Gui lin gu ben shang han za bing lun'. In his 1984 preface to this edition, Zuo Shengde states that he acquired a ms. copy of Zhang Zongjing 's work from his teacher, Zhang Shouzu, a 47th generation descendant."
