This is the first folio of a dhāraṇī text devoted to Avalokiteśvara with a thousand eyes and a thousand arms. It is the same translation as that found in the bka' 'gyur ( : P_369 ). According to the colophon of the canonical edition, this is a translation from the Chinese by the translator Chos grub (Ch. Facheng ). A different translation of the same text, incomplete at the end, is to be found in PT_420 . Another Avalokiteśvara text which may be related to these is PT_421 .
ITJ_314 is written in the same hand, on the same size folio. However, there does not appear to be a direct relationship with this manuscript.

Explicit ( 1v.5 ): byang chub sems dpa' sman mngon bar 'phags pa dang//
