Juan 1 of theSi fen jie ben shu四分戒本疏, written by the ṡramana Hui
慧. Marks in red. The text of this juan has been edited and
introduced by Tsukinowa Kenryu and Tsuchihashi Shuko. The copist of
the present MS was the same as that of the MS (Ryukoku University
catalogue no.46) used for their edition. The colophon reads: "Note
written by the bhikṣu Faxian after proceeding to the Grottoes of
Unsurpassable Height to copy and proofread on the 22nd day of the
10th month of a hai 亥 year." Every twelfth year contains the
cyclical characterhai. TheSi fen jie ben shuhas only been
transmitted in the form of Dunhuang manuscripts.
