"This official document was written by Yize and records the mission of Song Runying and other special envoys, namely, Gao Zaisheng and Zhang Wenche, to the Chinese court to sue for the insignia of Military Commissioner on behalf of Suo Xun, Governor of Shazhou. The envoys, who also included Wang Zhongzhong, Fan Qizhong, Duan Yiyi, Li Baiying and Shi Wenyan, were appointed on 17th of second month of Guangqi 3 (March 15, 887) and 14 days later reached Fengxiang, where the emperor arrived a few days later. The significance of the communique concerning relations between Zhang Huaishen, on whose behalf it was submitted, and the Tang court is examined in SuYinghui_1976 and RongXinjiang_1990."
