"A colophon follows the title recorded at the end of this fragment. It was inscribed by the scholar Lu Kang on 28th day of the first month Qianfu 6 (879), following three recitations of the text. Iriya_1960 dates the text to middle or late Tang based on a meticulous collation of multiple copies among the Dunhuang corpus. GaoGuofan_1984 provides a critical edition based on a collation of this ms. and Or.8210/S.1163, Or.8210/S.1291, Or.8210/S.1401, Or.8210/S.3835, Or.8210/S.4920, Or.8210/S.5655, Or.8210/S.5729, Or.8210/S.5773, Or.8210/S.6173, Or.8210/S.6183 and Or.8210/S.6243, as well as 22 Pelliot mss. Demieville_1982: pp.610-835 provides a full translation, based on a transcription of P.2564, in collation with 41 ms. fragments."
