Under the name of the year is '18' in red. The lines above give the number 118 and the words 'elapsed year of the rnam dag grub', 'Very Pure Attainment' (viśuddha-siddhi?)reckoning.
The number 118 points to the 59th year of the Sixty Years Cycle, which in India is, in fact, the year Krodhana.
The two lines verso in square dbu can are Sanskrit- ak+shara dz+nyAna bIro mahA saukhika #0F14; d+harmad+hAto yubAyau byasak+to dibaM/d+harmang/(this word is added in a different hand)[2]Adi nAthAshatArasya kAn+taM nRita #0F14; ramyatAM kAla tsakra naag+dzaMhRidi//
i.e. akṣara-jñāna-vīro mahā-saukhikaḥ dharma-dhāto yuā yau vyasakto divam/ ādināthāśatārasya kāntaṃ nṛtaḥ ramyatāṃ kāla-cakra-naya-jñaṃ hṛdi// and the Tibetan lines in dbu med are a translation thereof. Above the Sanskrit syllables are written numbers giving the values of the akṣaras, in groups of three. The heading explains that the metre is sama-vṛtta, (sdeb sbyor pa'i bṛtta), and adds a calculation referring to prastara (a technical expression in metrics).
